The Sirimon Track, one of the finest approaches to the peak
area. The Sirimon Track offers some of the best views of
the main peaks, with a gradual climb, which can be done leisurely.
Day 1 Morning spent sorting
and organizing personal equipment for the mountain trek.
In the afternoon you are driven to Sirimon Gate and then
to the road head at (11,000ft) in the high altitude mountain
tents.
Day 2
Ascend the Sirimon Track to Likii North Valley and camp overnight
in this beautiful little valley below the subsidiary peaks
of Teleki and Sendeyo, two ancient parasitic vents of the
main peaks (13,000ft)
Day 3
Climb out of the North Valley and into Mackinder valley,
one of the broadest valleys on the mountain, with giant
groundsels. Camp at the head of the Mackinder Valley, just
below the main peaks of Batian and Nelion
(14,000ft)
Day 4
Alpine ascent to the highest peak, Point Lenana (16,255ft)
On route up the north face Four hours of stiff walking
to the summit. Then descend to Teleki Valley on the opposite
side of the main peaks, to Mackinders Camp for a good night
rest
(13,900ft)
Day 5
Descend to the met station (road –head) after saying
goodbye to your Guide/Porters you then connect for your onward
transfers.

You are advised to come with your own sleeping bag and one
bed sheet and recommended list of the mountain equipment/clothing’s
to be brought as follows
Warm, windproof jacket with hood.
Waterproof jacket and over trousers.
Walking trouser, long sleeve, shirts and pullovers.
Warm underwear, Good comfortable walking boots.
Training shoes (for evening) *Gaiters.
Sun hat, *Warm hat or balaclava, *Scarf.
Good warm sleeping bag a must.
Water bottle (1 to 2 liters.)
Water purification tablet/solution (and filter).
Wash kit and towel, toilet paper.
First aid kit (personal medication, blister plaster,
headache tablets, sun cream, lip salve)
Torch, Sun glasses, Walking poles
Don't forget your favorite sweets or nibbles.
