Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival
Early head start with meet up at a central point in Nairobi city near Kencom Bus stop.
0700hrs pick up from Nairobi city centre. Drive northwards through Kikuyu farmlands Nyeri town situated in the Central Highlands of Kenya.
Visit the Nyeri museum. The museum is housed in a National monument which was once used as a “Native law court”. A visit to the place gives more insight into native Kenyan life. It is a great place to stop contains lots of artifacts and best memories of the Agikuyu culture.
Lunch
Proceed to Nanyuki town. It is here that Mt Kenya, Africa’s second-highest mountain, rises into the clouds. Visit the spinners and weavers factory. Here the women will show you the process of spinning, cleaning and dyeing the wool before you browse and purchase the selection of rugs and shawls.
Dinner and overnight
Day 2: 0600hrs early morning breakfast
Check out and proceed to Ol Pejeta conservancy Situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
Visit the chimpanzee sanctuary
Depart for Nairobi to arrive before dusk.
