Itinerary Details
Day 1: Kilimanjaro Int. Airport to Tarangire National Park:,
Upon Arrival at Kilimanjaro Int. Airport “Meet & Greet” with our Guide shortly after you’re your way to Tarangire National Park for game drives. Second only to the Ngorongoro Crater is sanctuary for vast herds of migratory creatures, the park’s wildlife tend to follow clearly defined seasonal patterns. First to move north‐east, often as far as Lake Natron, are the zebras and wildebeests, which begin their trek in October. After them, trek the gazelles, buffaloes, elands, oryxes and hartebeests. Finally, the elephants move out. The Defassa waterbucks, impalas, giraffes, lesser kudus, Kirk’s dik and warthogs, meanwhile, remain resident. In late afternoon you will exit the park and head to Karatu area for overnight at Bougainvillea Lodge
Day 2: Lake Manyara
To enjoy a full day of game drives in the shadow of the Great Rift Valley wall. Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which you may be lucky enough to spot in the early morning. The park is also home to an abundance of beautiful bird life as well as many other mammals including elephant, giraffe and hippos. You will overnight at Bougainvillea Lodge
