Day 1: Arrival - Ben Gurion airport - Tel Aviv
Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel on the Mediterranean Coast for check-in and rest.
Day 2: Tel Aviv Tour
Embark on a journey to explore the Christian heritage of Tel Aviv, a city steeped in history and cultural diversity. Begin your day with a visit to St. Peter’s Church, a historic landmark located in the heart of Jaffa. Day 3: Nazareth - Caesarea - Haifa
After breakfast, travel along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, where Gentiles first heard the Good News from Peter and were baptized. See the Roman Amphitheatre and aqueduct. Continue to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah hid from King Ahab, and then through the Jezreel Valley to Megiddo, significant in the story of Deborah, a prominent judge, prophetess, and military leader in ancient Israel. In the afternoon, visit Mount Precipice near Nazareth, where the people attempted to push Jesus off the mountain. Arrive at your hotel by the Sea of Galilee for dinner and rest.
Day 4: Sea of Galilee
Start the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, viewing a 2,000-year-old fishing boat from Christ’s time. Visit Capernaum, known as “His own Town,” where many of Jesus’ miracles were performed. Day 5: Traveling in the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem
Begin in Nazareth at the Church of Annunciation, built on the grotto where Mary lived. Travel to Gilgal, where the Israelites camped after crossing the Jordan River, and pass through Jericho, the world’s oldest city, on your way to Bethlehem. In Bethlehem, visit the Church of the Nativity and the Field of Boaz, connected to Ruth, the great-grandmother of King David. Arrive at your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and rest.
Day 6: Jerusalem – City of Prophetesses, Heroines, and Queens
Explore Jerusalem, starting at the Mount of Olives for a view of the city and visiting Huldah’s Tomb.
