The park is located about 150 kilometres north of Nairobi, with a drive time of around 3 to 4 hours. The most common route is via the Nairobi-Nanyuki road, which offers scenic views of the lush countryside. Once you reach Nanyuki town, it’s a short drive to the park’s main entrance at the Naro Moru Gate.
For those preferring a quicker route, flights to Nanyuki Airport are available from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, offering a 30-minute flight. Whether by car or air, the journey to Mount Kenya is part of the adventure, with stunning landscapes along the way.
