The park covers an area 117 it is made up of wide open grass savannah plains with a backdrop of the city sky scrapers. It is dotted with scattered acacia bush which play host to a wide variety of wildlife.. You will encounter black and white rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopard, and cheetahs if you are lucky, giraffes, zebras and many other herbivores. It is a bird watchers haven too.

0530hrs: Early morning pick up from your city hotel, residence or airport for a sunrise game viewing drive at the Nairobi national park. Proceed to the park gate

This is Kenya’s first national park established in 1946. This unique ecosystem is a principal attraction for travelers and residents alike due to its proximity to the city. As a successful rhino sanctuary, the park has an excellent record for supporting the species and nurturing them until they are re-located to their former range and to other upcoming sanctuaries.
