Day 1: Arrival
The Kenyan Coast stretches from the northern end of the coast bordering Somalia down to the southern border point is Tanzania characterized by mangrove and tidal flats. The coastline is an area of outstanding natural beauty, with brilliant sandy white beaches, coral atolls, mangrove forests, lagoons, creeks, remote islands and secluded bays.
The warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean lap onto the white sandy beaches making it a great tourist destination popular with both domestic and international visitors.

The entire coastline is dotted with numerous towns, beaches, islands i.e. Mombasa, North Coast, Watamu, Malindi, Lamu, South coast – Diani, Galu, Shimoni and Wasini Island.
Mombasa Island is Kenya’s second largest town and has history dating back nearly 2000 years. With its’ contrasting cultures and its easy pace, this town is appreciated by most tourists not necessarily as a holiday destination but as a place to savor during a coast visit.
